Making money from adsense is a great way to make money online and I have been very busy trying to make a little bit more this month.
My Hubpages Money Making Experiment
The month of July was mostly spent creating hubpages. I completed my 100 hubs in 30 days challenge, which was hard work but I persevered. I have been following Ben’s example from make money online with SEO. My skills at keyword research are nowhere near his but I am very happy with the amount I have made so far. My Info Barrel Money Making Experiment
I want to repeat the hubpage challenge but instead, create info barrels. I want to get to 100 articles so that I can see the same adsense earnings as my hubs.
So far I have created 33 barrels and have earned $5.02, so I want to step it up and try and get at least 50 more completed by the end of August.

My Blogger Blogs Money Making Experiment
I have started to create mini adsense sites using blogger blogs. Taking the advice of Ben and others, I have created my 4 – 5 page mini sites and I have put links into the relevant hubpages and info barrels that I have already created. The fantastic thing is that I have already made some money from them.
I have a total of 6 blogger blogs at the moment, one was a hobby site that receives only ezine article traffic, one was a keyword experiment and I created the other 4 blogger sites from 27 – 30 July, which breaks down to one for each day. From the new ones, two of them have already got adsense clicks. At the moment I am still learning so my earnings are not that high and my sites are most probably very easy to find. However, once I feel like I really know what I am doing, I will start to create new hubpage and info barrel profiles so that my niches are not so transparent. I will also start to invest more in my own hosted websites so that I own my own website properties 100%.
So to the money side of things:
My Adsense Earnings For July 09
- Hubpages created = 130
- Adsense earnings from hubpages = $73.15 (last month = $5.51)
- My hosted sites = $46.63 (last month = $50.08)
- Info barrels created = 33
- Adsense earnings from Info barrels = $5.02
- Blogger Blogs created = 7
- Adsense earnings from blogger blogs = $8.05
Total Adsense earnings for July 09 = $132.85
This was a great month and it can only get better. Some people may think that this is small potatoes but, hey, this is a learning curve and eventually I will make $1,000 online and I have to say, I am really looking forward to that day coming around sooner rather than later.

I hope to be right there with you this time next month. I am trying to create 100 hubs, 100 infobarrels AND 100 EZA articles in August. This will test my creativity to the limits but if I can get there…..
Why not give it a real shot and see what happens? The worse thing that could happen is that I waste a few hours writing articles instead of sitting in front of the TV getting fatter.

I hope that you can reach the targets that you have set for yourself. It sure is nice watching the cash come in. It is still difficult to drag oneself from the TV (Am currently watching the final episode of Sex and the City – love it). Right, back to writing articles.

It is definitely a good idea to aim for at least 100 hubs. By that time you should see a good amount of adsense clicks. It all depends on your keywords of course, but the more you write the more chances you have of making money.

These are some really encouraging numbers for someone such as myself who has very few hubpages/infobarrels at the present time, but who hopes to increase the number of these and hopefully earnings as well!

How long did it take before you were making money from hubpgaes and info barrel? I have written about 20 hubpages and 30 infobarrels. My info barrels are doing a lot better than my hubpages. The total amount I have made in the past 2 weeks (I started 2 weeks ago) is $8. After a month do your articles gain a lot more authority? I noticed some of mine went from the first page of google to the third or fourth page. Any Idea why?
@still Learning – thanks for stopping by. It took a couple of weeks before I saw any money and quite a lot of my hubs have not made any money at all.
