Here is my monthly update regarding my money making activities.
My Hubs
I am happy to see that the amount of money I have made with hubpages is at a similar level to last month’s efforts especially since I have only created a couple more since completing my 100 hubs in 30 days challenge. I just need to add a couple of article backlinks to give them more strength.

Info barrels have earned well so far. I also wrote 100 articles so just need to give them a couple more weeks to mature to see any more success.

Amazon Affiliate Hubs
I would now like to try my hand at making money with Amazon on hubpages. I have recently read an article by Tracey Edwards about how to make money with Amazon so I am taking her advice. I would like to get 50 hubs done by the end of September. Once I can see which ones rank well, I hope to then create blogger blogs for them so that they become blogger blog niche sites.
My Blogger Blogs
I have noted that the blogger blogs that I have previously set up took about 3 weeks to appear in the search engines. I tend to look at the first 100 results. Looking any further is a waste of time.
I am happy to note that August gave me my first £10 day from adsense (£11.09 to be exact) and I also achieved in excess of £100 for this month too. Yippee!!! This is great news, considering I earned around £20 a couple of months ago. It’s all down to reading lots of helpful info from the likes of:

Ben at how to make money on online with SEO
Court at the keyword academy
I had lofty ideas of getting to the point of earning £1,000 for the month of December. I am not sure that this is entirely realistic but I will continue to hold this figure in my head. There is nothing wrong with aiming high is there?
Thirty Day Challenge 2009
I completed the 30 Day Challenge 2009 organized by Ed Dale and the gang. The aim of their free 30 day online tutorial is to show you step by step how to find a good keyword, how to set up your own website with an affiliate product and the work needed to create backlinks in order to get your site ranking on the first page of Google. I wasn’t as focused on it as I was last year but I am happy to say that I successfully made my $1.00 within the 30 days. My website is currently at position 14 and I made my first Amazon sale on day 21 or 22. I need to add a couple more backlinks in order to get it on the first page of Google.
I just checked the website I set up during the 30 Day Challenge 2008. It is currently at position. Wow!!! It is at position 3. There are 4 really rubbish posts on it and I have just slapped adsense on it. The last time I checked on it, it was hovering around position 9. I am well chuffed.
All in all August has definitely been a good month.
My Earnings For August 2009
This started out being just an adsense earnings review by now that I have made a start on using Amazon, I will also include these figures here too.
Adsense earnings from hubpages = £41.17
Adsense earnings from Info barrels = £23.59
Adsense earnings from my hosted sites = £21.64
Adsense earnings from blogger blogs = £16.88
Total Adsense earnings for August 09 = £103.28 last month = £81.51
Amazon Earnings
I made my first Amazon money last September (from my 30DC website). Since then I haven’t really done much but now I want to make a real effort. So my earnings for the year is quite pitiful really but I hope to see a real jump next month.
Total Earnings from Amazon so far = £17.93
So far so good. Roll on September.

I’m trying to do what you have done – I’ve created 175-ish hubs with 1/3 being backlinked and I’m now earning roughly £1 a day which ain’t too bad.
Real congratulations, and good luck with the Amazon project! I may shoot out 50 hubs and see if anything works. Word of warning if you didn’t know (I didn’t till only a few days ago), you need to be an Amazon.com affiliate if you wish make money using Amazon on HubPages. It supposedly doesn’t recognise the aff. code from the .co.uk domain.

Re- Amazon. I realised that the biggest buying group is from the USA so signed up with Amazon.com.

Congratulations on the 20% increase in monthly earnings! Good for £150 in September, do you think? Keep writing those hubs, and diversify, diversify, diversify, and you’ll get to where you want to be in no time.

i think Earning Euro2,000 is possible if you work full time. my target is to earn some decent income around few hundred dollars per month. I will be happy with $500 per month.

Hiya Rahul – Always nice to see an increase in earnings. I am now making hubs to see if i can make money from Amazon. I hope that this will be a lucrative money making opportunity for me. Have to figure out how to do it right.
Sounds like you are moving on up. Amazon can certainly make some good money and I am stepping up some campaigns to get more from them.
A little tip and something I just implemented yesterday and don’t know why I didn’t do it before.
I noticed on a few sites I have that sell Amazon prodcuts that traffic is split betwwen the US and the UK. My sites are mainly for US buyers but I put a little text on the sites with a link to a UK Amazon search result. At least then there is the option for getting some sales from both sides of the ocean. Too early to see how well it goes but there is nothing to lose.
Certainly worth a try.

Thanks for stopping by. Yep, my figures are going in the right direction so onwards and upwards. I originally signed up with Amazon UK but realised that most of the traffic was from the US. Once I see more activity, I will definitely add the UK link onto future sites.

Dave of “A Self Sufficient Life” told me you commented on the Dirty Boots’ site with where you found their site, and that of course led me back here. So first of all, I spent some time exploring your site and congratulations on your first (and definitely not the last, if you keep this up) over £100 month!
And another congrats on your achievement with your 30DC sites! Do you think you’re going to start prettying up your site from last year- maybe throw a few backlinks that way and expand into that niche again now that you have a site with some PR sitting there?

I am very pleased that I carried out and completed the 30DC if only to confirm that I am have learned a lot since last year. I will definitely do more for these sites at some point as they are in a good position.

Firstly let me congratulate you on your earnings! It seems that you are doing a similar thing to me, albeit you are a bit more advanced. I have created a lot less hubs and infobarrels than you and don’t have any of my own hosted sites! I think my earnings per hub may have been slightly higher than yours – but I think my hubs may also be older than yours.
Another bit of good news – according to people who have been doing this for years the income from online activities drops in August and the first half of September.
