Go See Inception!

One of the best movies I have seen in a long time has got to be Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio.  This was a film where you had to concentrate completely from the beginning to the end in order to keep up with the plot.  It was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The cinema was packed but you would have been able to hear a pin drop.  You couldn’t even hear the rustle of popcorn packets as everyone was totally absorbed.  But back to the main event.

My Online Earnings For July 2010

I hoped that this month’s money making experiment would break through the £500 barrier for July but missed it by an annoying £13.65.  I haven’t done any work on the sites that have adsense on them so this is all passive income, which is great.

Milestones & Achievements For July 2010

I worked on improving the ranking for two sites and am pleased to say that as of today they are both on page 1 of Google search results. Still need to work on getting them up into the top 5 where the real money is!

I used the backlink package that was recommended by Dave at Making Money On The Internet.  This not only helped increase the number of backlinks, it also motivated me to continue article writing etc to create my own links.

Adsense earnings from Hubs = £124.80 last month = £116.24

Adsense earnings for Info barrels = £13.46 last month = £12.00

Adsense earnings from Free blogger blogs = £20.73 last month = £22.05

Adsense earnings from my Hosted sites = £42.74 last month = £39.97

Adsense earnings from Xomba, & Snipsly = £1.92 last month = £2.82

Unknown earnings = £0.01 last month = £4.08

Total Adsense Earnings = £203.66 last month = £197.16

How Much Money Can You Earn From Amazon Affiliate Links?

A nominal amount was earned via Amazon UK. £5 is better than nothing.  I was hoping for more USA earnings but I have read on other people’s blogs that this is a quiet time.  Even Chris Guthrie made less this month so that makes me feel a little bit better.  I look forward to reading his free ebook on making money with Amazon.  See if I can gain some more hints and tips.

I had one sale again this month.  I really need to start thinking about working on this revenue stream.

Things To Work On In August

It is now time to work on all things Halloween. I am going to be working on creating new hubpages and Infobarrels. If I come across a really good keyword, I will buy a domain and work on that.

I will continue to work on improving backlinks to the sites I currently have and try not to get too distracted with reading other people’s ramblings.  (Not gonna happen!)
