It’s Twilight Saga Eclipse Season!!
How rubbish that the main stars did not bother to turn up for the London premiere. I have read the books in the Twilight collection and am looking forward to seeing the film. Will wait until all the craziness is over before I venture to the cinema. Gotta love Orange Wednesday – watching a film for half price in the afternoon while all the annoying kids are still in school and there are only about 20 people in the screening room. Ah what bliss.
Back To My Earnings For June
When I first reviewed the results of my money making experiment for the month of June, I was a little disappointed that the end figure wasn’t higher. However I did take a week off at the beginning of the month and spent the time with friends in the city of Rome, which was fabulous. So taking that into account and the fact that I don’t do anything with the sites that have adsense on them, I have done pretty good.
Milestones & Achievements For June 2010
- I wanted to add more backlinks to two older sites – done
- I wanted to get these sites on page one of Google – done
- I wanted to order more articles from Freelancer.com – done
- I wanted to create 2 new clickbank sites – Articles done, need to add to sites
- I wanted to buy 10 more dot info domains – I bought 5
So to the figures – how much did I make in June 2010?
Earnings This Month
How Much Can You Earn From Adsense?
Nearly all my sites earned roughly half the amount they did in the previous month. It has only been in the last week or so that the numbers has started to rise again. Wonder if this was the after effects of the MayDay Google Samba Dance or something? The good thing is that this was mostly passive income as I haven’t done much work on these sites.
Adsense earnings from Hubs = £116.24 last month = £122.74
Adsense earnings for Info barrels = £12.00 last month = £5.65
Adsense earnings from Free blogger blogs = £22.05 last month = £13.08
Adsense earnings from my Hosted sites = £39.97 last month = £83.49
Adsense earnings from Xomba, & Snipsly = £2.82 last month = £1.60
Unknown earnings = £4.08 last month = £3.89
Total Adsense Earnings = £197.16 last month = £230.45
How Much Money Can You Earn From Amazon Affiliate Links?
Nothing via my UK links but an increase in Amazon USA. I have been working hard on these sites and hope that this will show up in this July’s results.
Total Earnings from Amazon USA this month =£257.75 last month = £204.76
Total Earnings From Amazon UK this month = £0 last month = £2.13
How Much Money Can You Make With Clickbank Products?
I finally received my very first Clickbank cheque in the post last month. It wasn’t much but it is a start.
Earnings From Clickbank = £7.53 – Last Month = £7.53
Making Money with Kontera
Kontera is only on my hubpages. I will most probably stay with it until I reach the payout limit.
Earnings From Kontera = £4.34 – Last Month = £4.43
TOTAL INTERNET EARNINGS FOR JUNE 2010
= £466.77 Last month = £449.30
I was really hoping to break the £500 barrier for June. Hopefully this will be achieved for the month of July.
Things To Work On In July
This month I will try to refrain from buying more domains. I need to work on the ones that I currently have.
I also want to go through the sites that are earning very little adsense and remove the coding. Most of these have Amazon products so I should not let potential buyers get distracted by the adsense blurb which ends up earning me only a few pennies whereas an Amazon click could potentially make more. I have also removed adsense from this blog as it wasn’t doing much anyway.
The Challenge 2010
The Thirty Day Challenge that used to be hosted by Ed Dale has a new name. It is simply called The Challenge. It is a free internet based series that shows you how to make money on the internet. I hope to take part and learn some great lessons on how to make more money on the internet. The system has changed for this year so will be interesting to see how different it is and if I can still make money for free using the tools that they will introduce.
So that’s it for now. I will now enjoy the beautiful summer here in London town and try not to get too distracted by the lure of my garden.
If you have any advice, I would love to hear from you. Good luck with your earnings for July.
(As you may – or may not – have noticed, I have changed the theme. The last one was looking a little tired. Still need to work on creating a better looking header picture though. )

Not bad earnings considering you were away for part of it. Surprised that your earnings from Adsense on Hubpages fell so much since I had a record month – but then I suppose this coming month everything could change and you have a good month and I have a rubbish one! Also if you make less than $5 with Kontera in a given month they don’t roll it over and include it in your total so you could be waiting a long time to reach payout! Direct quote from Kontera’s terms and conditions as found when doing a search for Kontera $5.
“Kontera’s Payment Terms
4.2 Payment Terms ………… Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Revenue Share for any given month is five dollars ($5) or less, Kontera shall not be liable to the Publisher for any such payment.”
Also interesting new format. Fancy a change did you?
Bristolboy´s last [type] ..Monthly Update – June 2010
@Hi Bristolboy – Haven’t really looked into the dip in Hubpages revenue. This is most probably due to the increase in Amazon clicks that i received.
Just got an email from Kontera – They have sent me my very first payout! Hurrah! wow, only took a year to earn! Will be pulling the switch on that one then.
The new format for the site – well I was getting real bored of the old one. Had it since the site was started in 2008. Change is definitely a good thing.
nice man your income is at good level. This month i am doing major work. Let see how much i will increase. I will be happy to reach $1000 per month.
@Rahul – Thanks for visiting my site. Good luck with your goal of $1,000. All it takes is work, time and patience.
Hi there,
I’ve been reading your blog for a good while but have never commented. Today’s as good a day to start, so here’z I am!
I just wanted to say I think you’re doing brilliantly. It’s cool (and inspiring) to see how you continue to grow from month to month.
Well done and all the best this month.
Take care…

Hi Ebele – Thank you for your comment.
My progress is slow but it is generally going in the right direction so that’s great.
p.s.: I like the new look too. Or is it just my imagination that you changed your theme?

Yes – I did change the theme. Got bored with the old one. I just need to figure out what image I want to add to the Header and then it will be complete.
I’m taking part in Ed Dale’s Challenge too. Like a fool I agreed to head up a team (because they recommend teams), and am finding it more hassle than it’s worth and the challenge proper has not even started!
Still, it’s a learning experience I guess, and things should settle down once people have the daily challenge videos to get stuck into. Hopefully team members will contribute more (and expect me to do less). But I already know I’m not going to do the team thing next year, LOL!
Teatree´s last [type] ..Experiment
Thanks for stopping by Teatree.
I have signed up with Infolinks but have not actually used it on any of my sites. Kontera was easy as it was very easy to install on hubpages.
I look forward to talking more about Ed’s Challenge in the coming weeks.
Toptopcat I agree change is a good thing – it pays to freshen up the pages once in a while. I think my blog looks a bit dated so think I will have to change soon – am considering even getting my own hosted site!

Everything works in cycles. What look cutting edge once upon a time can look dated within a very short space of time.
Re – your own domain – I would definitely agree that you should get your own hosted site. Then you know that whatever you post, you can never lose it to the Big G.
Nice income for June! With £449.30 I could almost make a full-time living — oh, the joys of living in a third-world country. =)
I was thinking of joining Ed’s 30 Day Challenge, but I am already following Tiffany’s 30 Days of High Performance. Don’t want to spread my attention too thin. Maybe next month…
Hope you manage to make £500 in July!
Selena´s last [type] ..Progress Report For Early July
Hi Selena.
It is so strange to think that what I currently earn would be enough for someone to live on in another part of the world.
Hope you are doing well with Tiffany’s 30 Days things. I am working on two of my sites each day and hope to see some real improvements by the end of the month.
